Spring is a time of rebirth and renewal – a perfect time for the new adventure that a marriage brings. You may choose to have your wedding early in the season which typically many places give discounts for….or perhaps you’ll choose later in the season when all the flowers are in bloom. Don’t forget that everyone loves when things start to turn green! So why not incorporate grass!
Celebrate spring in your menu with fresh young vegetables such as baby carrots, baby asparagus (or regular asparagus), new potatoes, sugar snap peas, and haricots verts. Celebrate the berry season by using fresh berries to accent your perfect cocktail!
You can accent your tables with polka-dot or gingham fabrics and ribbons. Alternate two great colors like pink and green; or orange and pink! For a more elegant look, use Celadon green with white, and silver as an accent color.
Give favors of seed packets or bulbs. If your nuptials are around Easter, send your guests home with a chocolate Easter bunny, a ceramic Easter egg, or a birds nests filled with robin’s egg candies.
Flowers in season include roses, tulips, hyacinth, lilies and Gerber daisies. Multi-colored calla lilies are very popular and look beautiful in a spring arrangement.
